Visiting the Japanese Tea Garden in San Antonio

*This post was created in May 2019, before COVID-19. Just posting old things I never got around to since I have the time now that we are all having to quarantine.

I was born and raised in San Antonio and have NEVER been to the Japanese Tea Garden! I have driven by it numerous times.

Finally, Darrel and I decided to go! I had no idea something so beautiful was right there all along.

Waterfalls, koi fish, rock structures, and beautiful plant life can be found while exporing the gardens!

The perfect daytime date!

Afterwards, we ate at Alamo Cafe, a local favorite for sizzling fajitas, fluffy tortillas, and the best queso you’ve ever had.
